Videos & Audio

Pep Band

December 2022

A project I filmed and produced by myself in December 2022, profiling Mack Shanker, a transfer student at Loyola University Chicago and a bass guitarist for Loyola's Pep Band.

This video was filmed and produced by myself for my COMM 145 - Intro to Video class, and my professor nominated it for a Broadcast Education Association award in the Television Short Feature Reporting category.

"Zcavenger" Hunt Audio Postcard

August 2025

An audio postcard I reported and produced as part of a 3-day audio workshop led by The Daily producer Aastha Chaturvedi. I spent a day following young people taking part in the "Zcavenger Hunter," a campaign event hosted by the Mamdani mayoral campaign, and the following two days writing the script, editing the clips and recording my voiceover.

Campus Plan

August 2024

This video details a newly-released document from Loyola University Chicago with all of their future plans for their landholdings on and around campus. The video was filmed and produced by myself with reporting and narration from Minné. The script was adapted by me from a written version of the story created by Minné.

This was the first video published by The Loyola Phoenix after COVID-related budget cuts, achieving one of the goals I'd set as Managing Editor to rebuild our multimedia reporting capabilities.

Uncharted Books Profile

September 2022

A profile of the Uncharted Books bookstore in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. Filmed in September 2022 with Hunter Minné and Makayla Merrell and edited by myself.
